Valentina Robila, MD, PhD, is an Associate professor of Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is the Program Director of the Surgical Pathology Fellowship and the Associate Program Director for the residency program.
Dr. Robila graduated from the Medical University of Iasi, Romania, and earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from University of Virginia. She completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency and Fellowship training in Cytopathology at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System.
Her clinical expertise and research interests include Breast and Cardiothoracic pathology, along with Cytopathology.
