Dr. Valentina Robila, is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her MD degree from the University of Iasi School of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, and her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She completed the Anatomical and Clinical Pathology residency, as well as the Cytopathology fellowship training at VCUHS.
After a short tenure in private practice in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Robila returned on faculty at VCU. Her clinical interests are Surgical Pathology including breast, lung, and genitourinary pathology, and Cytopathology. She participates in research and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows at VCU.
