Dr. Valentina Robila is Assistant Professor of Pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She received the MD degree from the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Iasi, Romania, and the PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Robila completed the Anatomical and Clinical Pathology residency, as well as the Cytopathology fellowship training at VCUH.

After a short tenure in private practice in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Robila returned on faculty at VCUH. Her clinical interests are Surgical Pathology including breast, lung, and genitourinary pathology, and Cytopathology. She participates in research and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows at VCU.
