I am a physician working in dermatopathology and in bone and soft tissue pathology. My clinical work focuses on careful diagnostic interpretation and collaboration with clinicians in the care of patients with skin and musculoskeletal diseases. I trained in the United States, Europe, and Colombia and I currently serve in the bone and soft tissue pathology and Dermatopathology services at VCU Health.

My academic interests include skin inflammation, tumor biology, and the integration of morphology with clinical and radiologic information. I have also completed graduate studies in philosophy and bioethics, which help guide my approach to medicine and to the ethical dimensions of clinical decision-making.

I value precision, clear communication, and a thoughtful, measured approach to diagnosis. My work is guided by the belief that medicine is both a scientific discipline and a human commitment, and that learning should remain a continuous part of professional life.
