Julio A. Diaz-Perez, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor, board-certified in Anatomic Pathology and Dermatopathology, with fellowship-trained subspecialty expertise in Immunodermatology and Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology. He has advanced postgraduate training in clinical dermatology, rheumatology, musculoskeletal radiology, molecular pathology, precision oncology, and regenerative medicine.

His clinical and research work focuses on the integration of multimodal morphologic, immunophenotypic, molecular, radiologic, and functional data for precision diagnosis, disease classification, and therapy in cutaneous and musculoskeletal diseases. 

In addition to his medical training, Dr. Diaz-Perez pursued graduate studies in philosophy and bioethics, which continue to inform his perspective on the multiple dimensions of diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making. His approach emphasizes diagnostic precision, and careful clinicopathologic interpretation.
