Catherine L. B. Palmer, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and the Medical Laboratory Director at Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, VA and Tappahannock Hospital in Tappahannock VA. She received her MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency training at VCU. Dr. Palmer is an active member of the teaching faculty in the VCU School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Palmer currently serves as the Southeast Regional Assigning Commissioner for the College of American Pathologists.
