Hematopathology Fellowship Program
This program provides intensive training in Hematopathology. It is aimed at those who have fulfilled a standard pathology residency and wish to specialize in hematopathology. Emphasis is placed on handling of critical biopsy material and complex specimens with correlation with ancillary techniques, such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and molecular diagnostics. There is extensive hands-on experience in performing bone marrow aspirates/biopsies. Intensive training is provided in bone marrow and lymph node pathology, coagulation, clinical correlation, and molecular diagnostics. Training in the use of, and investigative and clinical projects utilizing, molecular diagnostics are also available to the fellow.
Requirements: Preference will be given to applicants who have completed AP and/or CP training. All candidates must have passed USMLE Step 3.
